John Ho was quoted in HR Magazine about employers reporting about employees that have COVID-19 related hospitalizations. Suppose an employee left work after displaying symptoms on Oct. 1 at 4 p.m. The employee went home, but the symptoms got worse and he checked himself into the hospital on Oct. 2 at 9 a.m. "This would be reportable since his last exposure date at work was within 24 hours," said John. But if the employee did not check into the hospital until Oct. 4, "This would not be reportable since his last work-related exposure date was after 24 hours."
