New York, March 11, 2020 — Kenneth K. Fisher, a member of Cozen O'Connor’s Business Law Department, and Stuart A. Shorenstein, a member of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies and chair of the New York City and state practice, were named to City & State New York’s 2020 Law Power 100. The list recognizes New York’s 100 most politically powerful lawyers and their ability to connect law and politics. Fisher was described as “one of the city’s top land use lawyers, with a deep understanding of both policy matters and the politics that shape development.” Shorenstein was recognized as “a trusted counselor in high-profile matters.”
Fisher concentrates his practice on the public realm of the New York metropolitan area with a focus on real estate development, regulatory law, litigation, and investigations. He is a former New York City council member and served as founding chair of the New York City Chapter of the New York League of Conservation Voters and was founding chair of the Governors Island Alliance. He also serves on the board of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and is chair of the Brooklyn Bar Association Committee on Government & the Public Sector.
For four decades, Shorenstein has focused his practice on communications law, representing a broad swath of clients in broadcasting, cable, publishing, and new media.
