CHICAGO, July 28, 2020 — Jeff Greenspan, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Litigation Department in Chicago, has been named to the board of directors of the Center for Enriched Living (CEL), a nonprofit organization serving teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
CEL provides a vibrant community for its members with opportunities for life enrichment through social, recreational, educational, and employment programs at its headquarters in north suburban Riverwoods, Ill., and online.
“Our board of directors is a dynamic group of leaders that have helped sustain us during these turbulent times, as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Harriet Levy, CEO of the Center for Enriched Living. “Our board members share their professional experience and expertise to ensure that CEL continues to grow and thrive. Jeff’s legal background, strong commitment to our mission, and willingness to advocate on behalf of CEL make him a valuable addition to our board.”
At Cozen O’Connor, Greenspan concentrates his practice in the areas of professional liability, general commercial litigation, and fee dispute litigation matters, representing clients in all phases of litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His professional liability and general commercial litigation experience includes the defense of attorneys, individuals, law firms, and corporations, and he has represented and counseled numerous insurers, law firms, and individuals involved in legal fee disputes. Greenspan also coordinates pro bono efforts for the Chicago office.
In addition to his practice, Greenspan is active in the American Bar Association. He currently serves as subcommittee chair of News and Development and web editor for the Trial Practice Committee for the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association. In this role, he solicits and author articles on current litigation topics for the Trial Practice Committee’s website and its various publications.
Greenspan earned his law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2002 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1999.
