Why “OK Boomer” Is Not OK at Work

Joseph Sirbak was quoted in Thrive Global discussing why it is not okay to say "OK, boomer" at work. Sirbak explains, “The use of ‘OK, boomer’ in the workplace could be sufficient evidence of age-based hostility to support a lawsuit under the ADEA.” Whether it’s intended as a joke or a cut-down, spreading the “OK, Boomer” sentiment at work could qualify as a discriminatory — and punishable — offense.
