Anna Wermuth and Joe Tilson led the ABA Student Trial Advocacy Competition Midwest Regionals in Chicago. Anna serves as the national vice-chair of the competition, and Joe, who now serves as a regional co-chair, is one of the founding members of the competition, which is now in its 16th year. "What began 16 years ago as a pilot program has since blossomed into one of the largest and most respected competitions in the country," said Anna. "This year's competition was special because we had a Chicago winner: Northwestern Pritzker School of Law," Anna added. Anna, pictured third from left, is flanked by Northwestern's winning team, a fellow regional co-chair and the Honorable Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer, Chief Judge of the Northern District of Illinois, who judged the finals of the competition.
