On November 17, 2018, attorneys and staff from the Los Angeles and Santa Monica offices finalized pro bono adoptions for six families. These adoptions were part of the National Adoption Day celebration, in which thousands of children around the country are adopted from the foster care system. The Los Angeles Adoption Day event was filled with hundreds of families celebrating their new parent-child status and the beginning of a wonderful new life together. The attorneys who participated in Adoption Day are Dina Richman, Megan Peitzke, Natalie Keusseyan, Duane Montgomery, and Susy Forbath. Other attorneys who worked on the adoption cases are Howard Maycon, Mark Roth, Alex Kargher, and Maria Cousineau.
