Wednesday, August 22, 2018

Alex Campau, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Public Strategies group, spoke with Law360 about her experience at the White House. Alexandra Campau started her legal career at Cozen O'Connor and rejoined on Aug. 6., after serving in the White House since January 2017, where she helped develop and coordinate policy for health care reform and reimbursement for various programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Affordable Care Act, as well as association health plans, health savings accounts and health reimbursement accounts, among others. Campau told Law360 that during her time serving in the House, the Senate and the White House — and with various agencies — she helped people access health insurance and health care; helped providers, insurers and innovators help patients through work on legislation, regulations and in many cases deregulation; and also updated and reformed reimbursement policy for Medicare.
