City and State Pennsylvania names Cozen and Alderman to their 2018 PA Power 100 List

Philadelphia, May 22, 2018  Stephen Cozen, founder and chairman of Cozen O’Connor, and Mark Alderman, chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, were both named to The 2018 Power 100 list by City & State Pennsylvania, ranked 39 and 50, respectively. The Power 100 is City & State PA’s annual ranking of the most politically influential Pennsylvanians. City & State is the premier multimedia news organization dedicated to covering Pennsylvania’s local and state politics and policy. Their in-depth, non-partisan coverage serves as a trusted guide to the issues impacting states.
 
An accomplished litigator and counselor, Cozen is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a designation held by only the most respected and experienced courtroom practitioners, and is a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and Litigation Counsel of America. Cozen is a nationally recognized lecturer and author on a wide variety of legal and litigation issues, and judicial opinions frequently cite his articles and texts as authoritative references. In connection with government relations, Cozen has, among other things, served as chair of the Department of Energy Advisory Committee on Fire Safety and the Insurance Department Transition Teams for then Governor Rendell in Pennsylvania. He is also well-recognized as a consummate strategist, an appellate advocate, and is frequently called upon for appellate advice, counsel, and oral advocacy before both state and federal appellate courts. Cozen serves on numerous education and philanthropic boards, including The National Museum of American Jewish History, where he is first vice-chair elect, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Law School Board of Overseers.
