New York, December 4, 2017 – Stuart Shorenstein, chair of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies’ New York practice, was the 2017 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Citizen’s Crime Commission of New York City, an award that recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to criminal justice innovation. Shorenstein was honored at the organization’s annual awards reception on November 27 at Mutual of America in Midtown New York alongside former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, who received the Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Award. He has represented colleges, ports, major insurance companies, industry associations, not-for-profit organizations, and a host of companies and entrepreneurs seeking change in government policy or an opportunity to present their positions and have their voices heard.
