Intellectual Property Attorneys Become Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law

Robert Weaver and Gene Lang, both of Cozen O’Connor’s Intellectual Property department, became Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law by the Florida Bar. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify specialists in various areas of law. Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice.

Rob is a registered patent attorney who maintains a balanced practice in all areas of intellectual property. Rob received his J.D., cum laude, and his Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Miami. Gene is a registered patent attorney who concentrates his practice on patent cases for clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Gene is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and his bachelor’s degree in biology, cum laude, from Millsaps College.
