Gina Maisto Smith will present “Intersection of Title IX Regulation and Litigation” at the University of Vermont’s 34th annual Legal Issues in Higher Education conference. Gina will review key provisions of the 2024 Title IX regulations and provide an update on the federal injunction landscape and OCR enforcement. She will highlight institutional obligations and implementation challenges, as well as the impact of discretionary decisions on potential litigation when transitioning from the 2020 to the 2024 Title IX regulations. Additionally, she will share key takeaways and effective practices.
