This webinar will discuss whether the insurer is entitled to make a recovery before its insured is made whole. The presenters will explain the made whole doctrine, discuss how it is applied in different jurisdictions, and review whether the doctrine can be waived or circumvented. The presentation will also evaluate whether and how any deductible relates to the doctrine, and discuss ethical issues to ensure the insured is receiving fair treatment during the insurer’s pursuit of responsible third parties.
