Errors in Clinical Practice: Disciplinary Action or Criminal Prosecution?

Greg Fliszar will be speaking at the Physicians Legal Issues: Healthcare Delivery & Innovation Conference. Greg will a join panel that explore the criminalization of health care particularly relating to negligence and the prescribing practices of health care professionals.

The panel will discuss:

• The Vaught case as well as recent enforcement actions taken against physicians who are alleged to have overprescribed certain substances, in each case leading to criminal indictments
• Potential causes leading up to the indictments
• Practices and policies that should be examined and possibly changed in light of these indictments
