Jeremy Glenn and Jennifer Williams, both members of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment department, will be speaking at this event in the Bahamas. The conference will provide an opportunity to find out what has been “happening” at the U.S. Department of Labor in the Trump administration and how Congressional politics and initiatives will affect Trump’s agenda. This year’s program has several highlights including FLSA Hot Topics, U.S. District Judge Andrew J. Peck (SDNY) and a panel of practitioners will lead a session on e-discovery, Paul Bland will present on the ongoing arbitration wars, Commissioner Charlotte Burrows will discuss EEOC initiatives, and the timely topic of pay equity/salary history will be addressed by a panel of practitioners. Jennifer will be speaking on Friday, February 24 titled "Update on Ethical Issues in Fair Labor Standards Law." Panelists will explore the boundaries of an attorney’s ethical obligations with a focus on pitfalls and mistakes of new-comers to this area of practice.
