Leslie Gomez, Gina Maisto Smith, both of the Institutional Response Group, and Anna Wermuth, vice chair of the Labor & Employment department, will all be speaking at this event hosted by the National Association of College and University Attorneys in Chicago. Leslie will be speaking on a panel called "Update on Title IX Litigation: Lessons Learned and Some Predictions." This session will review recent Title IX litigation and discuss factors that may have influenced case outcomes. Gina will be speaking on a panel called "Media Training: How to Help Your Client Get Ready to Answer Tough Questions." This panel will establish a process for anticipating problems about which the media may inquire. Anna will be speaking on a panel called "You Couldn't Make Up This Stuff." Anna's panel will be an interactive panel discussing unusual, unique and novel matters in higher education.
