The Katie School of Insurance & Financial Services, Illinois State University and Optimum Consultants Limited present this one-week tour, to provide London Market practitioners with a concentrated, first-hand experience of insurance business in the United States today. The program benefits those in the Lloyd's market who are underwriting and claims personnel, brokers, capital providers, auditors and others to expand and develop new business in the U.S. insurance market.
The course is held every July for one week with half taking place in Chicago and the other half at the Katie School of Insurance in Normal, Ill. Topics include U.S. regulation, risk management, catastrophe exposures, demands & expectations of firms, tort reform and ethics, reinsurance, surplus lines, and more.
