The convertible note term sheet outlines and summarizes the basic terms and conditions included in a proposed convertible note financing. Typically, a convertible note term sheet will include the amount of the offering and how much capital the company intends to raise via the convertible note offering, the specific date(s) that the convertible note financing will close (or if there will be an open round of seed investment), as well as any other closing details. Additionally, such a term sheet will outline the rate of interest on the convertible debt and the maturity date of the convertible note. It will also outline the process for converting the note to equity.
