About Michael
I have worked as a Paralegal for over 15 years in government, private and military practice, on a wide variety of matters. Interestingly, I began my Paralegal career as an Army Legal Specialist assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion and had hopes of attending law school. However, en route to my plan, my Paralegal experience was cut short when my Ranger Commander recommended me for Officer Candidate School, where, after graduation, I was trained as a Military Intelligence Officer, and worked in counterintelligence. Upon completion of my Active Duty tour, I matriculated for one year at the law school of my alma mater, Washington and Lee. However, I realized very quickly that I was not equipped to begin practice as an attorney, and made plans to continue in the profession of law as a Paralegal. As a Paralegal, I have worked in major law firms in DC, Philadelphia, Wilmington, and New York, where I have gained insights and experience in matters ranging from bankruptcy and antitrust to insurance defense, personal injury and intellectual property. I have mastered software programs, legal research, document review and cite checking, but have also been aided in my work through my large list of growing contacts. I have completed Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate training at Villanova University, and I am currently pursuing my MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Liberty University. I am currently very active in the local community, and will be running for Congress in 2016.
