About Michael
Michael Curry has over 25 years of experience representing small, mid-sized and large (including publicly traded) companies, as well as select individuals. He was a shareholder (partner) and chairman of a major regional law firm’s business law department and a member at Cozen O'Connor before becoming a named partner and officer in Palmarella & Curry, P.C.
Mr. Curry graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Scranton, having attended on a Presidential Scholarship. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Jurist Magazine. Thereafter he completed further studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Michael clerked for the Circuit Executive, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and is licensed to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Curry has been a member of the Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy since its first decade and he has served on its Philadelphia Lawyers Chapter Board of Directors for over 15 years. He belongs to the Alpha Sigma Nu National Honor Society. Michael is included in Who's Who in American Law and was named a Top Business Lawyer multiple years by Main Line Today magazine. He holds a "superb" rating from AVVO professional ratings service.
Mr. Curry serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy Center, a non-profit for challenged individuals, and is Chairman of the President's Advisory Board of Bonner & Prendergast Catholic High School. Prior to his legal career he worked as a TV reporter for a CBS television station prime time news program.
Michael's areas of concentration include Corporate and Business Law (including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships), Contracts (private and governmental), Employment Law, Franchise/Licensing, Litigation, Trademarking and Real Estate. His work includes matters for small, mid-sized and large companies (both directly with senior management and via in-house counsel), in varied industries having regional, national and/or international presences, as well as for select individuals.
